  8.  AB    One of the main causes of HIVs infection in India is unsafe sexual
  9.        behaviour. In Rajasthan also all the cases of HIV infection identified
  10.        so far were caused due to sexual intercourse. Most of the sex seller
  11.        Women in Rajasthan are from nomadic tribes. The Bediyas, the Kanzars,
  12.        the Bheels, the Gadia Lohars, the Rajnats are main among them. The past
  13.        history and present life style of these tribes is very much interesting.
  14.        At one time they lived in the forests and depended on the forest
  15.        produces only. After taking control of these forests by the Government
  16.        they constrained to leave their ancient habitats and wander in the
  17.        search of food. Since neither they had got no land for cultivation nor
  18.        any job to do, the women of these communities adopted prostitution. The
  19.        increasing number of the clients of these tribal prostitutes is
  20.        alarming, especially the category of truck drivers, tourists and middle
  21.        class crazy youth. During a survey conducted by GBS (Gram Bharati
  22.        Samiti) 2 facts have come out--absolute illiteracy and ignorance about
  23.        the knowledge of HIV infection as well as use of condom among them.
